Prosperous Wind Shipping Limited (風盛航運集團) is a Taiwanese company that owns and operates Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) for supporting construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms in Taiwan.
Prosperous wind shipping, Taiwan is a partnership between Mainprize Asia Ventures and DWTEK Co. Ltd, Taiwan. Mainprize group has been operating in the North sea for over thirty years with extensive experience in the offshore Oil & Gas and renewables industry. Mainprize group have a well established reputation throughout the offshore wind industry for offering professional and reliable support services.
Backed by the extensive experience and excellent operational records of the partners in the European offshore wind farms, Prosperous Wind Shipping Ltd aims to provide the highest quality of service in Taiwan, enabling our customers to perform their work offshore in a very reliable and safe manner. The focus on operational safety is the highest priority and this commitment is evident in all our policies.
Our vessels have been purpose built to transfer offshore wind farm technicians and project cargo between shore, offshore wind turbines, construction vessels, substations and other offshore assets. The vessels offer the right balance between comfort, speed, operability, operational efficiency and flexibility, passengers’ space and comfort during transit and a safe and stable platform for safe transfers giving high accessibility to offshore assets.
Our organization is the first privately owned company to build an Offshore Wind Farm Crew Transfer Vessel locally in Taiwan. Prosperous 1 (IMO No. 9899674) is built by Lung Teh shipyard, Yilan Taiwan and delivered to us in July 2020. This CTV is of superior design and lesser weight resulting in an increase in wave height transfer, increased carrying capacity, increased deck space and reduced sea sick levels. Prosperous-1 is based in the port of Budai and is proudly serving the Yunlin offshore wind farm of WPD on a long-term Operation & Maintenance contract.
We are a newly established and growing company aiming to support our customers with the right vessels for their projects including new build vessels and project specific new procurements.
