Prosperous Wind Shipping Limited

Health Safety Environment & Quality (HSEQ)

We operate in harsh weather conditions and therefore we have high commitments to the safety standards of the industry, in operation and maintenance of our vessels. We understand that, it is our ability to consistently meet or exceed safety standards in the industry that allow us to win over and retain clients operating under the harshest weather conditions prevailing in offshore wind farms.

Protecting personnel, vessels, equipment and the environment is always the first and foremost priority. We ensure that every one of our people understands the need to actively identify hazards and manage risks in their daily working environment. Our safety council including top management, operations team and vessel crew reviews all HSEQ policies, procedures and systems on a regular basis. We strive for continuous improvement through regular safety drills, audit of our vessels & teams and training by skilled personnel.

We have standard operating procedures in place to enhance existing operational frameworks and to provide the crew with clear guidelines to follow even in the harshest conditions. Meticulous audits are regularly carried out in our vessels and land based facilities to assess the effectiveness of our HSEQ systems and make improvements as needed.

We strictly comply with the International Safety Management (ISM) code which covers issues related to the safe management and operation of ships and prevention of pollution. We are in the process of attaining ISO9001:2015 and ISO 14000 and OSHAS 18001 certification for our Quality Management Systems (QMS).

We have undertaken voluntary audit of our vessels such as Common Marine Inspection Document (CMID) of International Marine Contractor’s Association (IMCA) to ensure that we comply with international standards.

We respect the world we live in, the communities we serve and believe in contributing towards a sustainable world. We continually seek new ways to enrich our people and communities and will use all our energies and resources to support any sustainability initiatives of the government, customers and the communities where we operate. We have adopted the best possible means to reduce pollution, manage wastes in the most responsible ways and are continuously looking forward to adopting emerging technology and knowledge towards this goal. We provide the best training to our young Taiwanese crew using skilled professionals from Europe to empower and enrich local talent and create a sustainable business eco system.

Our goal is always:

  • Zero Injuries
  • No harm to environment
  • Safety and Reliability of our Vessels and Assets
  • Consistently meet or exceed our customer’s requirements and expectations
  • Continuous improvement
